The demand for precise slurry application continues to grow, but for many farmers and contractors, the weight of the implement remains a limiting factor. To address this challenge, SAMSON AGRO and Vogelsang have joined forces to introduce a new generation of lightweight trailing shoe booms that combine low weight, transport-friendly dimensions and high application precision.
Available in working widths of 12, 15 and 18 meters, the new TSB2-C and TSB2-S ranges make it possible to equip smaller slurry tankers with trailing shoe technology while maintaining favorable drawbar loads and maximising payload during transport. The result is a flexible solution that expands application possibilities without compromising spreading performance. The new range combines proven Vogelsang distribution technology with SAMSON’s well-known trailing shoe and nozzle design. This ensures reliable slurry distribution, effective soil opening and precise nutrient placement.

– When developing this new implement segment, it was essential for us to combine low weight, transport efficiency, high application precision and operational reliability, says Thomas Rasmussen, Head of product management, SAMSON AGRO and continues:
– We have had a good and long collaboration with Vogelsang about mounting their booms on our tankers and therefore they are the natural choice for this new range. By combining it with our trailing shoe and nozzle technology, we can offer the best of both worlds. Vogelsang share the same passion for strong, reliable machinery as we do, and here we will be able to deliver a full professional light weight solution for the middle segment between our TSB1 simple trailing shoe boom and the top professional TSB2.
