EIMA International 2026, one of the world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibitions, will take place from November 10 to 14 at the Bologna Exhibition Centre in Italy. Organized by the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, FederUnacoma, the event will bring together 1,800 exhibitors from 45 countries and showcase more than 60,000 models of agricultural machinery and equipment. From tractors and combine harvesters to robotics and digital farming systems, the exhibition is expected to attract visitors from 150 countries.

Smart Farming and Sustainable Agricultural Technologies Take Center Stage
EIMA International 2026 will highlight the latest innovations in agricultural mechanization, precision farming, and sustainable agriculture. The exhibition will feature 14 specialized sectors, five themed exhibitions, and dedicated Campus and Extend areas for universities, research centers, and industry organizations. Advanced agricultural robotics, digital technologies, soil preparation equipment, and environmentally friendly machinery will demonstrate how innovation can improve productivity and sustainability. The collaboration between FederUnacoma and the Italian agricultural research organization CREA will also support the transfer of technological innovations to the farming sector.
Global Agricultural Machinery Market Faces Economic Challenges
Despite growing demand for advanced agricultural technologies, the global agricultural machinery market continues to face economic pressures. FederUnacoma President Mariateresa Maschio highlighted rising production costs, declining agricultural incomes, and unfavorable weather conditions as major challenges affecting tractor sales in markets such as the United States, Germany, France, Turkey, and Brazil. Industry representatives emphasized the importance of expanding into emerging markets, increasing public support for agricultural machinery investments, and strengthening research and professional training.
Italy Strengthens Agricultural Mechanization and Innovation
Italian Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida emphasized the country’s commitment to agricultural innovation, workplace safety, and environmental sustainability. The Italian government has invested nearly €1 billion in agricultural mechanization while expanding support programs for machinery modernization and workplace safety. EIMA International 2026 will provide a major platform for manufacturers, researchers, and policymakers to explore new technologies, strengthen international partnerships, and shape the future of sustainable agriculture.
