AgriXtra XL tractor tires for high performance awarded with “DLG Approved” seal

MAXAM's AgriXtra XL tire range provides less soil compaction, greater fuel savings and better traction results, and offers higher productivity compared to the market leaders in the DLG comparison tests.

The independent German testing institute DLG Test Center Technology and Equipment of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) has awarded both the MAXAM AgriXtra XL VF and the standard radial tire R-1W with the “DLG Approved” seal of approval. This once again underlines the technological advantages in the product development of innovative, radial agricultural tires of the MAXAM brand. The DLG approval confirms MAXAM’s intentions and technological developments, which aim to offer not only improved product performance through less soil compaction, improved traction and greater fuel savings, but also greater “added value” to farmers and agricultural companies.

These three key parameters of the new AgriXtra XL series guarantee higher productivity and at the same time sustainable and long-term performance of the tires. In the DLG tests, which were carried out in Germany this year in the field and on the road, as well as supplemented by laboratory tests on the dynamometer, both the MAXAM AgriXtra XL VF and the standard carcass tires in sizes 600/70R30 (front axle) and 710/70R42 (rear axle) achieved superior results compared to the tires of the competition.

The test results underline that MAXAM achieves a better performance than the competitors in the categories “Resource conservation (VF, soil compaction)”, “Fuel saving” (improved productivity) as well as in the category “Traction” (reduced slip rates). “We are pleased that the independent experts and testers of the DLG confirm the premium quality and performance of our tires. As an integral part of our expansion strategy, we aim to further grow our agricultural tire business. Our MAXAM AgriXtra XL products in VF and standard casing construction are excellent examples of how our technology and engineering can help farmers achieve greater added value by efficiently reducing their fuel costs, increasing productivity and reducing soil compaction,” emphasised Harry Wang, General Manager MAXAM Europe.

As part of the global SAILUN Group, the tenth largest tire manufacturer in the world, the MAXAM specialty tire brand continues to offer extensive tire know-how and expertise with the AgriXtra product range. “In particular, the MAXAM AgriXtra XL family of high-performance tractor tires brings significant improvements to farmers and agricultural operations in particular, while also protecting the environment. With our innovative VF range as well as the standard versions of these tires, our engineering teams continue to meet the challenges of the market by developing products that improve traction, reduce soil compaction and ensure long tire wear when used for transport on hard surface roads. Thanks to our innovative and highly flexible radial carcass, our AgriXtra XL products offer better traction, improved soil protection and significant fuel savings both in the field and on the road, providing unmatched added value to our customers,” emphasized Harry Wang.
