Row Vision Guidance Weeder on Konya Agricultural Fair

MOVE ON and TARIMÖZ launched new product "row vision guidance weeder" they developed together at the Konya Agricultural Fair.

MOVE ON, an agtech startup that develops agricultural artificial intelligence and autonomy technologies, and TARIMÖZ, which has been producing agricultural equipments since 1977, companies had signed a cooperation agreement to produce smart agricultural machines on November 24, 2023.

MOVE ON and TARIMÖZ launched the “Row Vision Guidance Weeder”, which they developed together to the agricultural ecosystem at the 2024 Konya Agriculture Fair.

With the installation of MOVE ON’s camera kits with agricultural artificial intelligence softwares in the weeding machines already produced by TARIMÖZ, the weeding machine has become more sensitive, smart and digitalized.

MOVE ON is developing agricultural artificial intelligence softwares.This agricultural AI software analyzes images from the camera during the weeding process in less than blink of an eye. Agricultural AI software recognizes the plant by sight and then controls the weeding machine.

In this cooperation project, TARIMÖZ developed new generation weeder legs. In this way, weeding can now be done by getting closer to the plant. With this project, it’s aimed to accelerate plant development and to use mechanical methods more efficiently and effectively in the weed control process.

With “Row Vision Guidance Weeder”, it is planned that there will be no area that has not been weeded, especially in the area close to the plant roots. In this way, companies also aim to reduce the use of chemicals in agriculture.

New “Row Vision Guidance Weeder”, which emerged with the cooperation of these 2 companies, took its place in the market as smart and precise agricultural technology.

This new “Row Vision Guidance Weeder” can also work in connected with the MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform. This allows monitoring and control remotely using MOVE ON’s Web and Mobile applications. It also has the ability to store plant images to the MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform while “Row Vision Guidance Weeder” is working on the field.

According to the information shared by the companies, it was stated that the hoeing machine has 2 cameras, currently performs the process of shifting, and in the new versions of the machine, section control and automatic hydraulic lifting at the end of the row can also be offered.
