In addition to the pneumatic dual-line trailer brakes, developed to meet ‘Mother Regulations’ requirements, Massey Ferguson is now adding the choice of new hydraulic dual-line trailer brakes, with ABS socket for the MF 4700, MF 5700, and MF 6700 models.
This option is available now for all models equipped with cabs and for MF 4700 platform tractors from March 2019. A cost-effective alternative to the pneumatic version, this system strengthens Massey Ferguson’s offering and position in this price sensitive market. The new hydraulic system is compatible with existing trailers equipped with single-line hydraulic brakes.
Massey Ferguson now also offers a factory-fitted front linkage for MF 5700 Dyna-4 models, built in Beauvais. Doubling-up operations increases versatility and boosts performance, leading to a faster return on investment helping to make Massey Ferguson’s tractors even more competitive in the market.
With a lift capacity of 2,525kg at the ball ends, it comes with suspension as standard for improved comfort. The front linkage can be set in three different positions – fixed, float or transport. All hydraulic functions can still be used when the front linkage is locked.
To increase manoeuvrability in tight areas, the arms can be folded up when not in use. The front linkage is available with or without a single set of hydraulic couplers and an electrical socket.
