With 2,600 expected exhibitors across 24 halls on some 38 hectares of exhibition space as well as a broad international technical program, Agritechnica, which takes place in Hanover, Germany, 12-18 November 2023, is the largest exhibition for agricultural machinery. The 2023 edition will include an International Farmers Day dedicated to Poland and France, which is organised by the DLG (German Agricultural Society)

Held biennially in Hanover, Agritechnica attracts some 400,000 visitors from over 100 countries, including a significant contingent from Poland and France.

With the theme “Green Productivity” denoting how new concepts and pioneering innovations ensure agricultural productivity while protecting nature, climate and the environment, Agritechnica’s technical program offers numerous presentations on topics like smart farming.
Polish and French farming visitors, which this year will receive much attention, appreciate the venue for its full range of equipment, solutions and innovations, not found in this breadth anywhere else in the world.
International Farmers Day focusing on Poland and France
At this year’s Agritechnica, Poland and France have been highlighted for the International Farmers Day. On Tuesday, 14 November, at the DLG-Expert-Stage, Hall 26 the program’s focus is dedicated to key topics relevant to farmers, experts, and machinery organizations in Poland and will offer simultaneous translation in Polish.
Topics that will be explored in depth include the EU’s Regulation on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products. The planned discussions center on the trade-off between environmental protection and farm productivity. The EU’s Green Deal and its practical implementation, especially across a range of farm sizes, will also be on the agenda.
The International Farmers Day, which premiered in 2019, aims to present best-practice examples and delve into farmers’ challenges and solutions in key agricultural regions. The event will captivate not only Polish farmers but also those in Europe and worldwide who look to countries like Poland and France for technical advances in crop production.

Both Polish and French farming professionals visiting Agritechnica on 14 November will gain free entry to the exhibition.
