The CLIPS device underwent rigorous field tests this year and received widespread acclaim from both retailers and farmers. The CLIPS device can be attached to the side of a bulk seed box container up to 24 months before it is expected to be used. When the seed is released from the box during planting, the CLIPS device automatically releases Indigo Ag biological products formulated as a dry powder. The product is mixed as the seed enters the planter without any intervention from the farmer. Just like the seed box, the CLIPS device can also be reused. And, because it is a closed system, the device creates less mess.
