AMA S.p.A., announces that on 12 June 2024 it completed the acquisition of a 60% stake in Star Zirai, a Turkish company specialising in the production of clod breaker discs, seeder discs and other parts for tillage in agriculture. Star Zirai employs 35 people and has a factory of over 2,700 m2. As a result of the transaction, the company will be renamed Ama Star Zirai. With this company, the Ama group doubles its weight on the Turkish market, together with Ama Tarim Makina of Istanbul. The selling majority shareholder and general manager of the company, Ersin Vardar, will remain in the corporate structure and in operations, ensuring business continuity, in line with Ama’s policy of enhancing local management in all its foreign offices.
AMA was assisted in the legal transaction by PwC TLS with a team led by Avv. Filippo Zucchinelli is composed of Giulio Della Casa and Valeria Chiocca with the support of PwC Turkey for the Turkish law aspects, and for the financial aspects.
