TürkTraktör Commercial Business Leader Ahmet Canbeyli stated that they first started the New Holland Yaren Libraries project in 2016 in order to bring children, who are the guarantee of the future, together with books, to give them the habit of reading at an early age and to help them enrich their imagination.
Canbeyli said, “As TürkTraktör, we not only transform agriculture and cities, but also attach great importance to sustainable and permanent projects in line with our social responsibility approach. The Yaren Libraries, which we have realized in this context, is a very valuable step for us to ensure that our children are introduced to the magical world of books at an early age. In this journey that we set out with the aim of raising our children, to whom we will entrust our future, as individuals who read, write, research and think, we are proud to deliver more than 13 thousand books to many village schools today and we are opening our new library. We are aware that our future will be shaped in the hands of well-educated, inquisitive, creative and imaginative children. I hope that Yaren Libraries will be a guide for their developing imagination and their journey of perceiving the world. Today, we are very happy to realize this meaningful project at Kahramanmaraş Afşin Çobanbeyli Cumhuriyet Secondary School. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this journey, especially our esteemed government officials, Erdoğan Traktör, my valuable colleagues, teachers, school administration and everyone who wholeheartedly supported the project.”
