Are you Ready for More? – Fendt sets the bar higher still

Fresh from the company’s hugely successful reception at Agritechnica – where not one, but two “Tractor of the Year” awards were received in their respective categories –  the line-up planned for the NEC will be both extensive and thought-provoking for many of those attending.

Highlights will include a number of completely new machines:-

* IDEAL 10 Combine, complete with header

* Rogator sprayer with 36m boom

* Fendt Slicer – the first new mower from the Fendt stable

* Fendt Lotus – three new tedder models

*Fendt Cargo T955 telehandler

*New Operator Working environment – ‘OnBoard’ & ‘offboard’

In addition, the latest models of proven favourites will be available for close examination, including the new 942 tractor – ably supported by the 828, 718, 516, 312 and 200 models –  the Tigo forage harvester and the MT 943 tracked tractor.

It’s possible, though, that the biggest magnet for show-goers in January will be the new Fendt 700 Series cab, or “driving workstation”, which will be available from July 2020 and built around two new armrests. ‘Fendt One’ is the name embracing the ‘off-board’ element of the new workstation that visitors to the stand will be able to sample the experience using Virtual Reality headsets.

Fendt IDEAL 10 combine harvester

With its MAN 16.2-litre, 790hp (max), Stage V emissions-compliant engine, the Ideal 10 features a new cleaning system, together with the Dual Helix separator – a combination that delivers the highest grain quality and the least grain losses. It’s the first combine – in Europe at least – that can be operated without a steering wheel.

Fendt Rogator 300 trailed sprayers

Now available with a boom width of up to 36m, are available with up to five OptiSonic sensors that guide the left and right boom arms individually over the target area. This means the booms maintain a consistent distance from the target crop for evenness of application. The unbendable lightweight aluminium linkages ensures the nozzles are protected and also easy to change.

Fendt Slicer FQ Front-mounted Mower

This latest addition to an already popular range of disc mowers brings new degrees of flexibility in ground adjustment, together with the unique lateral shift. Ideal for using with powerful combinations – with a rear butterfly mower, for example.

Fendt Lotus Tedder & new Twister model

New to the range, the Lotus is specifically designed for medium to large acreages and purpose-built for preparing forage. The highly-rated Twister tedder line-up is now headed by a new model, the 11010 DN.

Fendt Katana 650 Forage Harvester

New crop flow, more power and the BalancedGrip smart all-wheel drive system. The latest Katana model also has a new grinding mechanism that extends the service life of the knives and whetstones.

Fendt Cargo T955 Telehandler

The Cargo T955 is Fendt’s first offering in the telehandler sector and, as you would expect, raises the bar in terms of innovation. This model sets a new sector standard with its unique lifting cab with vibration damping and uncompromising durable build quality.

In addition to these new machines being seen for the first time, the Fendt stand will be displaying examples of the latest models across its truly comprehensive range. These will include the recently introduced high-end, Fendt 942 415hp wheeled tractor, Fendt Tigo PR50 forage wagon and the Rotana Combi round baler.
